richardbunkall.com is the official website of Pasadena-based artist Richard Bunkall. Known for his distinctive style, his twenty-five year career ended in 1999, when he died of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) at the age of 45. Bunkall was also a teacher at Art Center College of Design for nearly 20 years.

Bunkall's work was quite detailed, covering a broad spectrum of sculpture, paintings, works on paper, and drawings. His paintings offered a depth of color and tone that was extraordinary.
