History
Visual Software Systems was founded in 1996 by Roger Sparks
for small development and consulting projects. Development
of VisualME, the company's first commercial product, began
in early 2002. Many of the techniques used at Visual Software
were pioneered by Mr. Sparks in organizations where he facilitated
innovative and cutting-edge Internet-based marketing.International Expansion
In early 2003, Visual Software Systems expanded it
operations into the United Kingdom, with the formation of a
new company called Visual Software Systems International (VSSI).
VSSI offers local sales, service and support to
customers in the United Kingdom and other selected
international locations.
Management
Visual Software Systems is led by Roger Sparks, President.
Mr. Sparks has over 30 years of software marketing and development
experience and has successfully implemented marketing technology
improvements throughout
his career.
He was the senior marketing officer for several
years at worldwide software manufacturer Princeton Softech,
Inc. He was also the
senior marketing and technology officer at Thoroughbred Software
International, a manufacturer of Unix- and Windows-based
software development products,
for over 10 years. Mr. Sparks was a co-founder of accounting
software manufacturer State of the Art, known for its MAS
90 product.
He gained experience with the problems
solved by VisualME addressing real-life marketing situations
during his tenure at these companies, and in understanding
the increasingly sophisticated
technical requirements of marketing organizations with the
evolving use of the Internet.
